A Cloudy Rainy Spell

The past few weeks have seen many clouds
and rainy days.
On Friday, June 19th, we took a ride about
8 pm. and saw something amazing out at sea.

This is the edge of a fog bank rolling in...
it looked very mysterious as it slid across the ocean.

On Saturday, June 20th, the clouds
are still with us as a
glimpse of the Pineapple Ketch
sailing caught my eye.

By evening, the fog had rolled in once again
as folks fished at the jetty....

if you'd like to see more of the coast of Maine click here
to visit my Shells and Roses blog...
thanks!

Evening Stroll

We walked along Ocean Avenue tonight.
Saw the first beach rose of the season.

The sunset was serene....

the elm tree is so majestic...

and the sky, dreamy...

Another Sunset...

At the end of the day, the clouds were thick
and to our surprise there was a tiny break
in the clouds near the horizon with room
enough to allow the sun to peak through and
create a glorious sunset.

Around the Bend

This is the scene on our way to town to check
the mail at the Post Office.
Ducks and occasionally a loon or heron can be
spotted in the cove. I always look forward to
seeing who may be there.
Do you have a favorite spot for viewing wildlife?
